Site Rebranding and Redesign

This isn’t a case study because, well, there was no time for all of the normal UX processes. But this will speak to some of my other skills. Adept had been beefing up their creative team by not only adding myself as a designer, but also adding a creative director, The goal was to offer not only digital marketing (as was the current case) with some creative mixed in, but to offer digital and creative as a robust solution. This led to a desire to rebrand and launch an updated site. The problem was, the C-level leaders wanted it done by the time the CEO made a presentation in just a few months. But, by the time the strategy and branding were done (mostly), there were only 2 weeks left for design and then development and design worked concurrently for the next three weeks to finish the project. Not ideal to say the least. Unfortunately, this led to over a month of working 50-60 hours weeks with some weekends in order to not only meet this deadline but to produce a great site. So, besides understanding that our main audience were C-level leaders, we had no personas or wireframes and information architecture was done on the fly.

What this does show is that I have the soft skills to navigate this situation, and the work ethic to get it done when needed. Although there is room for improvement, I think the site is pretty good considering the crazy time crunch.
